Zero Carb Week 2 reflection

Week 2

Day 8 (Saturday, September 15, 2018)  Weight XX8.4  (Down 7)

I started with an omelet with ham and cheese, ZC Cazzerole for both lunch and dinner.  Then in the evening, I had a bit of an oops.  I made a mousse with instant sugar free pudding mix and heavy whipping cream.  I didn't need or crave the sweet stuff, I was hot, tired, grumpy and basically just bored.  I have to admit, it wasn't even that great, I wish I hadn't had it, but I did.  So now that I had my cheat, I am ready to be committed for a great week!!  I really need another great loss this week to hit my end of the month goal.

Day 9 (Sunday, September 16, 2018) Weight XX9.8 (Down 5.4)


Meal prep happens today!  Planning for the week makes for a successful week!!  Especially since I am up a pound and a half from that one crazy cheat!  Dang!!!

Started my day with an omelet, I was meal prepping so had a little ZC cazzerole for lunch.  I treated the kids to Mc D's for lunch.  Can you believe I wanted to order a cheeseburger?!?!  Not fries.  Not a shake.  But a cheeseburger!!  That was a great feeling!!  


Days 10 ON.... I QUIT!!!  Weight XX1.8 9/23/18 (DOWN 3.4)

ZC felt so restrictive, I felt like I was dieting.  I do not want to diet, I have changed to a healthy lifestyle, not a dieting life!  I felt like I was cheating, even when I was eating low carb sugar free snacks.  Instead, I found myself following fatgirl menatality, gorging on unhealthy things, or going out of control!!  Portions out of control, cheating big, guilty feelings... NOPE, NOT going to do that anymore!

ZC was a quick drop in weight, but more than I can continue for a life time.  I will stick with my under 20grams of carbs a day and BE HAPPY!!!  I loved the egg fast for weight loss stalls, and learned I can restrict for a few days and get on track, but I need to enjoy life too.  

SO, today is my last ZC blog, post, etc... I am ready to go back to what was working for me!! 

Those of you that can do this, YOU ROCK, just not for me!!
