Banana Applesauce muffins 2 Weight Watchers Smart Points


After moving away from the LCSF journey, I started back on Weight Watchers.  I LOVED having fruit (free points) again!!  SOOOO sweet after 2 years away from them!  Bananas were a fruit that I dearly missed, it was awesome when I was able to have them again!


I like the greenish bananas, and those don't last long on the counter.  So I am always left with 3 or 4 ripe black bananas.  I had to find something to do with them.  Looked around for a good muffin recipe, but nothing tasted the way I was hoping.  Here is a quick and easy recipe I created that has just 2 smart points per muffin.  A TON of banana and not overly cake-y.  Want less banana, more muffin--cut back to 2 bananas.




¼ cup brown sugar

2 eggs
⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce
4 medium bananas mashed
1 tsp vanilla
1.5 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder


Preheat oven to 375F 
Spray a 12 hole regular size muffin tin with non stick spray.
In a bowl mix together bananas,brown sugar, eggs, applesauce, and vanilla.
Mix in flour and baking powder.
Pour batter into muffin cups and bake for 20 minutes, let cool
